Successful organizations create roadmaps for success, leveraging knowledge and experience of others as a foundation. 3PM offers third party marketers information on best practices, standards of conduct and regulatory issues to help them create their roadmaps and build their business professionally and ethically.

3PM Principles and Best Practices

The Third Party Marketers Association believes that its members provide an essential service to the investment community through representation of products that may normally be inaccessible to the broad universe of potential investors. Given the complex nature of the marketplace and the competing demands of a variety of constituents, we believe that it is appropriate to outline the basic principles of member conduct. Adherence to these principles both reinforces the stature of our member firms and provides a standard of measurement which can strengthen the investment industry as a whole.  At least once per year, all 3PM Member Firms must certify that they will follow the Association’s Principles and Best Practices. 3PMentor - Fact Sheet and Application

The goal of this program is to bridge the gap between new members and more experienced 3PMs. Participation in this program will help to provide new firms as well as those in the early stages of their development an opportunity to be partnered with industry veterans and to learn first-hand the tools of the trade, what it takes to be successful, and what pitfalls to avoid.
